128) “There are huge centuries-old stone sundials and moondials all over the world which still tell the time now down to the minute as perfectly as the day they were made. If the Earth, Sun and Moon were truly subject to the number of contradictory revolving, rotating, wobbling and spiraling motions claimed by modern astronomy, it would be impossible for these monuments to so accurately tell time without constant adjustment.”

That’s only true if the changes were (A) large and (B) irregular over a few centuries.

But there are no changes in the relative motion of the earth and the Sun or Moon that would show up in such a short time period. (Incidentally, are sundials really that precise, so that we could detect a change if there was one? In any case, there’s no scientific or logical reason to expect such changes).
“Again, what does Mr. Dubay talk about when he says the earth is "wobbling and spiraling"?

Axial precession of earth takes 26,000 years. However, it doesn't effect the value of the axial tilt, only its polar orientation. That is why during a day the sun 13,000 years ago behaved the same way as it does today (when you only factor in axial precession), an equinox is still an equinox, noon is still noon and the sun's equinox angle at noon ist still the exact same.

Nutation oscillates over 19 years and has a maximum value of +/- 9 arcseconds. Negligible.

Axial tilt oscillates over 41,000 years. 2000 years ago it was 23.7°, now it's 23.44°. That is a difference of 0°15'36".
OVER 2000 YEARS!

No wonder sundials still work because that difference is marginal.”

  1. Actually sundials would not work at all on a flat Earth because they rely on the fact that the sun moves 15 degrees per hour...
